This randomized, nationwide representative study of family planning needs and analysis of behaviors and attitudes of women identified 6 different segments of women based on their attitudes and behaviors towards contraception. The study concluded that nationwide efforts to increase contraceptive use should focus on three segments of women in order to maximize the probabilities of increasing CPR.
