USAID MULU
Key populations activity
Project
Overview
The USAID MULU Key Populations Activity aims to expand comprehensive community-based HIV services for key and priority populations (KP/PP) in Ethiopia and is the national leader implementing innovative HIV programming for KP/PP. The activity introduced community index case testing and partner notification services for KP and PPs, HIV self-testing, community-based antiretroviral therapy (ART) services, and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for KP. In addition, the activity supports a network of community drop-in centers and hotspot outreach settings established with input from KP through user-centered design to provide comprehensive friendly HIV services.
