We’ve spent the last two weeks celebrating our annual 12 Days of UHC campaign, which ended with Universal Health Coverage Day celebrations on 12th December. The theme of this year’s UHC Day, “Universal Health Coverage for All,” gave us a unique opportunity to celebrate key achievements and take stock of the progress still needed to achieve Universal Health Coverage.
We know that self-care is an integral part of building resilient and responsive health systems and an important tool for achieving UHC 2030 goals. This year, in order to highlight the connection between self-care and UHC, we collaborated with government leaders, advocates, and implementers from around the world to dig deeper on how self-care can help to achieve each of the eight UHC2030 Action Agenda Areas.
In case you missed it, we’ve compiled all the video messages from key stakeholders highlighting the connection between self-care and UHC and uplifting key advocacy opportunities to advance self-care in each of the eight of UHC2030 Action Agenda Areas.
