The purpose of the event is to launch a global consensus statement on increasing access to a full range of contraceptive methods for adolescents and young people, with particular emphasis on LARCs. The statement was developed by Pathfinder International and its E2A project, with PSI, MSI and FHI 360, as a key output of our symposium, “For Youth, A Healthy Option with LARCs” held on May 27, 2015 and the high-level technical consultation held on May 28, 2015.
The consensus statement has been endorsed by the following agencies, in addition to a longer list of implementing organizations and individuals.
