PREPARATIONS for the Zimbabwe Medical Association (Zima) annual scientific conference to be held next week are at an advanced stage amid calls by officials for a strengthened health system in the country.
Doctors from various specialties from all over Zimbabwe will meet and share scientific knowledge and new developments in the medical industry at the conference.
As is tradition, Health and Child Care minister Douglas Mombeshora will be the guest speaker at the annual conference.
Speaking to NewsDay this week, Zima president Kudzai Masinire said the event, which would see more than 500 delegates attending, would be held at the Harare International Conference Centre.
