When it comes to contraception, women deserve a method that aligns with their health, life, and future goals. Contraceptive self-care methods such as DMPA-SC self-inject (SI) can place greater control in women’s hands by offering them a discreet, convenient method to use when and where they choose.
The DISC project has created a buzz around SI through the Discover Your Power Campaign – a digital campaign targeting women of reproductive age in Uganda and Nigeria that reached over 248 million people with SI education messaging. Within a short span of time, Discover Your Power has helped over 443,000 consumers to seek SI services.
SI is a game-changer for sexual and reproductive health and rights for consumers and providers alike.
