The Plus Project seeks to reduce morbidity and mortality from malaria and anemia in children under two through administration of Perennial Malaria Chemoprevention (PMC) alongside routine vaccinations and Vitamin A supplementation. At project start-up, a gender analysis was conducted in the project’s four focus countries (Benin, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, and Mozambique) to examine how differences in gender roles, norms, power, needs, and opportunities can impact PMC implementation.
