FHI 360 has joined a team of global health organizations to implement a new reproductive health initiative in Asia and Africa called the Passages project, which aims to improve the healthy timing and spacing of pregnancies by youth and first-time parents in developing countries. The initiative, funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development, will be coordinated by Georgetown University Medical Center’s Institute for Reproductive Health.
The five-year Passages project will support a team of researchers, including experts from FHI 360, in developing and testing scalable approaches to fostering social norms that support healthy behaviors in family planning and other reproductive health areas.
