More than 600 million girls live in developing countries where they struggle with a myriad of life-threatening issues, yet less than two cents of every development dollar is spent on them. This lack of resources contributes to an incredible loss in human potential and can cost billions of dollars to struggling economies. This week the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) holds its annual meeting in New York City and CGI members such as the Nike Foundation continue their commitment to empower women and girls in the developing world. CGI’s homepage features a lively conversation between PSI’s Global Ambassador and Board Member Ashley Judd and Lisa MacCallum, Managing Director at the Nike Foundation.
