Bram Piot

Project Director

Bram Piot works toward improving routine monitoring systems and increasing data use at all levels. He has a keen interest in disease surveillance, mapping and data visualizations. His past work with PSI focused on M&E systems while working as regional Evidence Advisor for West and Central Africa on the implementation of DHIS2 and on market studies and geographic information systems (GIS). He was previously employed as a technical officer with the World Health Organization’s Public Health Mapping unit and has worked as a consultant for UNFPA, Roll Back Malaria, MSH, Medicines for Malaria Venture and other NGOs. His work has taken him to more than 50 countries throughout Africa, Asia and Central America. He is currently based in Vientiane, Lao PDR where he coordinates projects that strengthen public health emergency operations centers in south-east Asia.
