American actress and singer Mandy Moore is in Trinidad and Tobago for the launch of PSI Caribbean’s Gender Based Violence (GBV) Programme.
Moore, along with Indrani Goradia, the founder of Indrani’s Light Foundation, are special guests at the launch which takes place tomorrow morning. Goradia, a tireless advocate for girls and women leading empowerment trainings in several countries around the world, will deliver the feature address.
Moore, known for roles in movies such as Saved, Tangled, A Walk to Remember and The Princess Diairies, joined PSI in 2008 as an Ambassador for its child survival programs, which provides children and their families with the education, products, services and care needed to improve their health and save lives in more than 30 countries around the world.
