Dr Ernest Nwokolo, Director, Global Fund Malaria programmes, Society for Family Health (SFH), said on Thursday that consistent usage of Long Lasting Insecticide Nets (LLINs) would reduce malaria incidence by 50 per cent.
Nwokolo told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja that eradicating the malaria epidemic in Nigeria was of absolute importance.
“Malaria is a major threat to livelihood and has adverse effects on the physical and social well being of the people as well as the economic development of the country.
