YOUTH NETWORK ON HIV/AIDS IN NIGERIA

As National Coordinator of the National Youth Network on HIV/AIDS in Nigeria, Babamole is heavily involved in policy advocacy, resource mobilization and coordination of HIV and sexual reproductive health (SRH) interventions in Nigeria. He has extensive experience working with development partners and government agencies, such as during his experience as Program Director for the SFH Global Fund Youth Builders Initiative focusing on HIV prevention for key populations. Babamole is passionate about community organization, the rights of youth and ensuring people have access to health services and information. In his current role, Babamole coordinates various projects and community interventions towards these aims, such as the MTV Staying Alive Foundation “SHUGA” Project, a drama series that educates youth and adolescents about sexual and reproductive health products and services.

Babamole holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from University of Ilorin and a Diploma in Management Information Systems from Scholars International Institute of Technology. Babamole is also a certified Charter Member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) and holds a certificate in Humanitarian Study and Social Development from the Nigerian Institute of Humanitarian Study and Social Development.
