This year’s World Economic Forum in Davos, organized around the theme “The Great Transformation: Shaping New Models,” is focused on finding solutions that will allow both the developed and emerging economies avoid future economic bubbles. As leaders at WEF define these solutions, the importance of global health is getting special attention. PSI CEO Karl Hofmann and VP Kate Roberts will lead discussions on connecting the dots between health in developing nations and the global economy – stronger health systems and healthier communities can halt billions of dollars in lost productivity every year and turn that capacity into a market that will drive future growth.
