Dear PSI Friends and Colleagues,
During this era of COVID-19, we are reminded of how important our supporters are to us and feel so grateful to get to work with you every day on improving the world’s health. We are equally reminded of the importance of building sustainable and resilient health systems, especially for the world’s most vulnerable people.
As we have during past health and political crises, PSI remains committed to:
- Working with and for the people we serve, to ensure their health and well-being during this uncertain time
- Keeping our staff safe
- Continuing our work with Ministries of Health and partners
We have a long history of getting hard things done in difficult times. We’re working to live up to that legacy now more than ever.
In more than 50 countries, we are continuing to deliver on our mission of expanding access to essential healthcare services and execute our programs in the safest ways possible. We have implemented teleworking policies where feasible and are actively executing contingency strategies aimed at keeping our staff healthy, providing exceptional care to communities and strengthening the systems that serve them.
Our work to prevent and treat illnesses that make individuals even more susceptible to the impact of this pandemic also offers the ability to help expand our mission in a critical time, as we’ve done in the past with cholera, Ebola and Zika.
We will continue to keep you updated on how we can serve our consumers, and how you can help as we continue to work through the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you for your continued support. We hope you stay safe and healthy during these uncertain times.
Sincerely,
