PSI promotes the use of routine health data to drive decision making by health professionals. To that end, we are one of the leading non-profit users of DHIS2 spanning across over 25 countries, and work closely with the DHIS2 developers at the University of Oslo to continually improve field applicability of the system to facilitate data use.
In this presentation, PSI’s Chief Evidence Officer Desmond Chavasse shares our global approach to strengthening use of data with DHIS2, particularly looking at (i) setting expectations relating to data use, (ii) moving data from ‘field-to-fingertips’ of end users, (iii) acting on what the data tells us. This is in light of recent DHIS2 system enhancements.
