Millennium Development Goal 5 calls for a 75 percent reduction in maternal mortality between 2000 and 2015 and universal access to reproductive health. While this goal continues to lag behind many others, there has been progress. The visionary Strategic Alliances with International NGOs (SALIN) programme, under the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was created to deliver better results for women of the world, and results are promising. With the programme’s grant period drawing to a close, PSI and other SALIN partners welcome you to this technical forum for discussion and knowledge sharing as we hear updates and lessons learned from several of the SALIN partners.
